My 401 has tanked big time. This is good 'cuz I get more dime for the dollar, and since I'll be working here for another 120 years, I need that.

Our IRA is holding pretty good. Between my wife, her folks, and my own, I watch 13 mutual funds. (We're not in all of them). The ideal situation is to have 4 going in one direction and 8 going in another. The other guy just sits there (dividend income) and challenges the world to try and make it move. Very boring, very reliable.

Anyway, usually check on a week end but since you mentioned 401, the stagnant guy had no change, 2 were down, and 10 were up. This (could be) a good sign for the direction of the market short term but would not advise putting any money on it.
