Bosco, Fighting for something is not the problem. Perhaps the country that introduced WWF wrestling and Jerry Springer to the world has a more 'stoic' view of the world. (g) My view is less enlightened. When high-altruistic-principles are used to mask what are essentially ugly politics and ambitious self-interest, I get very uncomfortable, and will try hard to get everyone in the room to look underneath the covers. Call me naive, but I think that people like JFK and Teddy Roosevelt would have conducted themselves differently. Would they sit down, have breakfast and work out a fair scheme to do a proper recount, or would they do the same? At least the speeches would be more awe-inspiring. SbH
