After this performance by the democratic party I will do everything in my power to help Republicans and defeat Democrats for at least the next 10 years." Same here. This election has been VERY educational. I was completely amazed at how low and deceitful the Gore team was willing to be in their quest for power. I will be much more active and pro-republican from now on. And to think I voted for Gore just to ensure gridlock...

OT/Actually, Bush is 1st Rep Prez cand I've voted for in 3 elections!! My profile is basically that of a moderately conservative Libertarian. Like libertarian candidate Harry Browne very much. Have most of his books from the 70s and 80s in my large personal library and voted for him in 96'. But during the past few years realized the Clinton/Gore regime have so debased our politics that I had to make my vote count this time even if it was for a candidate (Bush) I'm only luke warm about. After seeing what's gone on during the past 6 months?! Have to agree with K.B. & Doug Fant. It's time for ole Iso to become more active in promoting the Rep candidates and issues I feel strongly about. Won't wait for 04'. Plan to do what I can in the 02' mid-term election. It's quite ironic that fate has taken this turn to wake up and energize so many of us. In my case it will take some getting used to because I don't fit the typical classic Republican profile. I don't even play golf OR WANT TO, LOL. Now if there's some good adult soccer players in the local party org....(g) Best Isopatch
