RE:"What did I predict about MXi, K6, K7, Rambus, Coppermine, 1.13GHz and the IPC of P4?"

The MXi and K6 I don't remember. The others you were pretty good on and you made it easier for me to come to the same conclusions.
Where you lose it and a lot of others lose it is when you have to translate this into the stock price...this is because, as you know, the markets often don't work logically and this is confusing especially to math intensive folks. Not to mention psychology and a ton of other external factors.
As far as the P4, I think even the Intel faithful know it's a dud, IPC wise. It's saving grace is Mhz.
Athlon is a great all around chip but AMD was slow to ramp and is pathetic at marketing. They have to SMP chipset and have relied to heavily on 3rd party chipsets and motherboards. On top of that they are getting caught in a supposed PC down cycle.
Apparently knowing chip design is just a small part of investing in these stocks...
OTOH, When I ask about chip design I ask you. Kap and a couple others first.
