yes, demand for Pd is likely to falter a bit. however, it looks as though supply is set to contract even more in 2001, with Russia already announcing there will be very little material available. in 2003, the expansion of the South African PGM producers will likely begin to make up for the Russian shortfall.

all that said, Pd has a 'three drives to a top' chart, so a pretty sizeable correction can probably be expected.
