is it now time to buy? You looked for the low 60's (pre-split), we are there.

Assuming you are not just trading S/T, I'd look to start scaling in here, like placing GTC buys along the lines of 10-15% of ultimate fully loaded position for every further post-split $1 drop in price.

If you are trading there may well be further downside over the next few weeks when the future reduced expectations that are probably "in the price" right now get recycled in the press, regurgitated by the analysts, and finally confirmed by the company. Thus the suggestion to "average in" starting around here.

There's no question that both in U.S. and Europe server sales will be below prior expectations in the near term. Whether, when this becomes immutable truth vs. good hunch, the market will react as it did last week to INTC, or today as it did to CPQ, is a vast mystery to me.

Of course if you are a believer in the "Coming Crash of 2001" then better not buy anything!

All of the above JMHO, but if one ended up with an average entry of $27, hard to see how you'd have many regrets say two years hence.
