twfowler: No one knows where the PC market will be 12 months out...That's what makes the market...My guess is with the currently conventional view that there will be a 15% increase in Y2001...At the same tinme I'd guess AMD's market share will increase a minium of 5%, maybe even more than 10%...Assuming 27 million processors in Y2000 of a base of 150 million, this would extrapolate to a minimum of 40 million processors and at 10% market share increase to 47 million processors...
