we're talking about something that happened today away from stocks...a huge, panicky rally in t-bills (someone wanted them REAL bad) , basically a yield crash. and the Fed feeding out a 6,5 billion overnight repo, which seems a lot. smells of an impending liquidity crisis, possibly precipitated by the unwinding of wrong way bets by some big player.
