Could EXDS be a acquiror candidate?

EXDS clearly wants to be the hosting "gorilla".
Superficially I could see where EXDS could buy PSIX for the
data centers, sell off the dial-up biz to, say, GBLX and
end up with clear dominance in the hosting biz.

Would this make any sense as a combination? If only to
keep the centers out of the hands of FON or MCIC? Or,
would the combined debt load of the two be prohibitive?

Thanks for the links. I will listen to those. I just listened to a 30+ minute interview with Barry Hyman, in which at about minute 29 he gives the edge to Digital Island (sp?) over PSINet in being acquired by Sprint, FWIW.
