Flapjack....yes, just posting a link isn't the best thing to do...the links are somewhat perishable...BUT I nearly always cc the article in my email, then go back and cc the link address, and insert it into my article...This way we can all have the best of both worlds....The article can stay on SI, and the link can act as a double check for completeness, or for further information, or even sometimes, give people another site they didn't know existed.
