I over heard a group of elderly ladies in an elevator this morning talking about the U.S. election results. I really need to share what I heard.

One said that they were disappointed that George Bush won. They said he went too far with his make-over. They remember when he was president before, and that judging by his appearance, he should’ve aged ten years, but instead, he looks like he lost ten years instead. They speculated how much he may have spent on plastic surgery and hair implants. One remarked that he looks the same age as his son, the Governor of Florida.

Another piped up, (I expected the conversation to regain some sanity, but no…) that she didn’t mind him wanting to look younger, but what really disappointed her is that he dumped Barbara for a younger wife.

I didn’t get a chance to tell them that Ex-President George Bush is still married to Barbara; that he has aged normally; that his son will be the next president; and that the current Governor of Florida is the next President’s brother.

Somehow, I doubt they’d have believed me.

Cheers, PW.
