i meant particularly the action of the past few days. look at the Euro chart:

see that little pullback?(somewhat bull-flaggish)

now the DXY (which acts a bit differently due to the weakening Yen):

the last five bars look like a bear flag, which so far stopped right at the 20 and 50 dma's, which are both declining and just had a bearish cross-over. my guess would be another leg down is in the offing from here.

HOWEVER...that does not yet damage the long term uptrend...that would imo have to be regarded as intact until 105 falls. long term, the DXY exhibits a bullish saucer, that it took many years to build.
