...give Bush a chance... I gave him more than that - I voted for him! To paraphrase Carville, "It's the issues, stupid." After the debates I did start to realise that I and everyone else was underestimating him. But, well, I guess you don't find 'em like Ronald Reagan too often (sigh). Re. looking ahead to '04, any speculation on a switch in W's Veep? I respect Cheney but he's got "electability" problems (he lacks screen presence and there are the health questions). Seems like he'll step down at some point during Bush's term in office to make room for a presumptive heir to run '08 (either after a second Bush term or against whichever Dem wins in '04).
