indeed. this whole 'core' charade would be so much more believable if non-core items weren't so important, and rising in price most of the time...this was a '70's invention, to keep up appearances...

This is what a "caring" Dem governor, state legislature and US senators can accomplish when the show how much they "care" for the good citizens of Cali by enacting a jack leg deregulation scheme and then freezing rates. You think the enviro-yuppies will boycott their coffee grinders and stair masters when they find out the electricity is coming from those evil hydro dams that kill all the nice fish?

And it's not even winter yet.
