The statistic you quote is not quite right:
the murder rate per 100,000 per year is 2.1
in Bush counties (not 0.1) and 13.2 in Gore counties.
The difference is striking nonetheless.

One more interesting fact that might help explain these disparate murder rates: Gun ownership in the counties won by Mr. Bush is much higher than in the counties won by Mr. Gore!

And that will stay that way. Gore was trying to take away our Constitutional Right to Bear Arms. At least Bush will keep those rights for us!

The Justice Dept under Klinton/Gore has said those are "state's rights" even though they are in the Bill of Rights-- which is by DEFINITION **Individual** Rights....
