Eddie, the US dollar world reserve currency status is a privilege not a right if the US abuses it for too long at some point foreigners can pull the plug and sell dollars. I feel that at some point they may decide to cut their losses rather than finance our debt fueled consumption binge. it may sound like heresy but they can sell their dollars for gold or Euros. Re: sell $ to whom? there will be buyers as the value falls. mike
