Please read more of Rand, I think you will enjoy it. The Libertarian Party was based on the writings of Ms. Rand, and you are very correct in saying that Anarchism and Libertarianism are closely alligned. In fact, I would say that Libertarianism is anarchy with good roads and an army.

But it is inacurate to say Rand was about Individualism. She was about ownership of ones own "self". Which, of course, is a concept equally valid to the rugged individualist and the herd critter alike, in theory at least, and if each choose to avail themself of it.

I wouldn't fear Capitalism. The price of goods gets cheaper all the time, due to capitalistic competition.
