Hi Carl - I was talking to a colleague of mine yesterday morning how President-elected Bush could make up to the disenfranchised by sending some federal $ for upgrading the polling machine nationwide. It appears I wasn't so smart <g>, everyone was talking about it last night. I was watching NBC last night, I found one interviewee, a NYU law prof, made a very good comment. One may disagree with USSC, of FLSC, for the matter, rulings, but probably one should not make personal attack on judges [unless one doesn't consider calling them names personal attack <VBG>!] That is a wise suggestion. Still, on local teevee, some guy was interviewed on the street and he started calling them "political bstrds." This is very unfortunate, even though I can see some people may be genuinely upset NYT has an interesting article nytimes.com So, it seems that it is not just ordinary people having intense reaction. Time will tell if there is lasting impact best, Bosco
