Master: Great response on unions vis-a-vis the Catholic Church. You put some thought into that one. Maybe some of your erudition can rub off on the idiot right-wing bashers on this board who are too dumb to string eight words together in a logical fashion.

On one point your are way off the target:

In fact, the Catholic Church, as embodied by the Pope, has a heinous record insofar as to what it didn't do or say during World War II.

On the other hand, Poland is a free country today because of trade unions throwing off the shackles of communism in the 1980s. Do try to do a little legwork before you grace us with your bashing beatitudes.
