I wouldn't flame you:) I was just interested in your thinking and your right, his health could be an issue. Your also right in that he could out live all of us. We will see what happens in 4 years. I just hope that this is truly over and there is no mining for electoral votes. Jeff

Actually, I believe that the Republicans' long term plan is to have JXM run as VP in four years after Cheney bows out to go under the full time care of his cardiologist..... JXM will then become President in 2008 and appoint an all-Piffer cabinet..... a few of the positions have already been filled: Chief of Staff: Huckleberry Attorney General: mph Federal Reserve Chairman: John Pitera (not a cabinet post but Greenspan will be dead by then) Secretary of State: Gloop Secretary of Defense: Jeff Roberts (who will commute to work in a Humvee while eating pork sausages and cheese cubes) Press Secretary: Sherry Fox Secretary of the Interior: Al Gore Secretary to the President: Tipper Gore Other positions are still open, applications are being accepted.
