Hi Jim,

I missed EXTR on the gap filling this AM. Have an order in for $71 5/8 in case it tests today's lows. Hopefully EXTR will begin it's run to the century mark today.

AG needs to act & soon IMVHO. I agree with your overall POV on the market calling for a rate cut. Hopefully AG will soon see the light.

Hi Cornbread: Yeah, I agree. He should cut, but don't think he will. Neutral bias, yes. Even if he cuts, it won't stop the warnings, which I think will continue. I think it would offer some stability from which we build. However, it will take months. Damage done.

On the other hand, I remain optimistic, still bullish in the notion that we do go up and will have a decent 2001.

Going into the week staying with JDSU, SDLI, EXTR, CIEN, BEAS and BRCD. Really like EXTR and BEAS. Playing the volatility churning options has been rewarding the past few weeks. Consequently, until I see need to change, I will continue with that style.

Good luck this week.
