Does anyone know of ANY power plants built in the US in the last ten years? If so, how many and where are they?

Of course, we have had a population increase, both from external, and from internal. Each person uses power.

Very simply put....but probably the reason for the increased cost, and for the lack of sufficient power.

I love it when liberals complain about the high cost of energy. It reminds me of the tactics of revolutionary groups in South America years ago who would bomb the bridges and railroads and then blame the government for lack of consumer goods.

The left wing has thrown up every barrier imaginable when it comes to energy. They have regulated these companies to death and then complain when they haven't the resources to expand to meet growing demand. They have made it impossible to search for new energy sources and distorted the market mechanism but are the first to complain when existing supplies run thin.

When I think about all the wacko Californians paying out the nose for energy, I get a big grin on my face.
