TIBX marketgems.com likewise had no chance. If you pull up the 5 minute and daily chart of TIBX now (this one was from last night).. you can see that that 2 bar move to the downside and the move down of the stochastics from overbought to oversold escalated the momentum of the downtrend. There was not a clear downtrend established until the -DX finally crossed the +DX and the stochastics continued to weaken. This was the confirmation of the more obvious moves of the bearish bars on the five minute chart. Of course an initial gap down and awful market internals don't help matters and just put some more nails into the coffin.

A KEY TO WATCH: Will stocks with warnings see their shares continue to drop sharply? Or will the market start to treat them more kindly?

Remember when INTC shares failed to drop last week which triggered a rally (albeit illogical) in semi's?

This is definitely something to watch because if stocks or sectors seems to hold even after issuing warnings, it may signal a temporary bottom and a minor or more major rally in a stock or sector. It certainly would indicate a changing psyschology among investors.

I'm watching but so far still seeing fear and a willingness to sell quickly on the slightest disappointment. It's not safe to go intermediate long yet. Careful daytrading is still the only way to go, imo.

AKAM,IWOV another of our shorts.. and NETE... marketgems.com NETE was getting too big for its britches. We expected NETE to gap up a bit and than pull back. It definitely pulled back but it never gapped up! We had short plays 9 - 1 on long plays and the long plays never triggered except TXCC.. NTIQ watched for a possible long play but shorted it again. Exactly 9:50 NTIQ began to reverse that first 3 5-minute positive bars to the upside. From than on it was no chance for poor NTIQ.
