I was wondering if anyone saw Joe Battataglia (Gruntal) on Squawk Box yesterday morning. Was a little early for West Coast folks. He came up with the idea that a lot of these vicious earnings warnings we a getting have been over tempered because of the FULL DISCLOSURE law which took hold a couple months ago. Suggested that companies are just getting used to it, jockeying on just what to say and over compensating on the "warn" side to protect themselves. Supposedly they will find common ground on it next year. I guess his thesis was that things won't be as bad a all these warnings are suggesting. Then again, Joe has been a "super" Bull... Me, I'm just looking for something good. Jim
