Y,

Ravenquote is a fabulous program.. still slightly buggy.. Qfeed can be terrible.. this if the barrier to intraday scanning scanning. 1000 symbols will probably take 3 mins or so. Currently I have it scan 200 stocks (obtained from BigEasy) at hourly intervals. I recommend waiting till they have an alternative data vendor in place. Or, they do have a 2 week trial, although you'll have to pay for Qfeed from Quote.com during the trial, pro-rated. Once they are further along with this program, there will be no need for anything else.

Hoping Nazdaq only fills the gap to low 2700's.. it should reverse, FOMC mtg. nearing. Stocks with +di over 3 greater than -di quite strong.. QCOM, PWAV, AMCC..

FHCC really good looking, I mean.. really..

Rashid

YxY:

Taking a break to check on email, SI, etc.

RQ does look tempting, but needs a more reliable data feed than quote.com, IMHO. Still, I may try it early next year; lot of QP fans like it as well.

Your scan idea is a possible and you might want to take a look at Traderbot (http://www.traderbot.com/). Very fast real time scans of the market, can be customized, etc. Some stuff is free with a registration. Customizing, and lots more bells and whistles, cost a monthly fee. I haven't looked, but think the scan you suggest is already available.

eSignal also has a market scanner, however I haven't tried it as I already signed up for Traderbot. Nice reviews in Active Trader and TASC several months ago got me interested in TB - you might want to check for them or I can try to find month/issues in my stack of reading materials.

Bought SSTI (@13 1/2) and RDRT (@4 5/8 - looks like support?) working for nickles and trying not to lose dimes. Might want to keep and eye on TALK - pattern is shaping up nicely.
