Grace, that is a good way to look at it until one of the Bells issues an RFP that requires Telecordia certification. SCMR can't even respond. Even some of the newer startups are pusuing OSMINE certification at this point. There will be new equipment offerings available for these networks. It seems somewhat short sighted since SCMR has had a billion in cash and the certification costs less than 20 million.

In a perfect world, the Bell companies would see that they are limiting their choices of product to buy by requiring OSMINE certification. That is a lot to ask of a group of companies not accustomed to change. tp
