JDSU/ SDLI could be next to have approval by FTC
like this afternoon or tomorrow

FTC is busy today, and may act on other pending mergers
they just approved AOL / TWarner
reportedly a one-hour meeting

my bro knows these guys like their long Christmas vacation
he thought long ago that Dec15th would be last date
the Zurich Uniph pumplaser sale is no biggy
at least $2b so I hear
bound to pay down some associated debt on that company

Wish I had your optimism. Naz looks very sick to me. Time capsul is running out.........I dont see what's gonna rally us in the next six weeks, when historically it starts to get bad again. It's scary to think we may head to february and not even be at 3000 or maybe right at 3000.....if we're lucky. I'm hearing lots of folks talk about 2200, maybe less in the near to mid term. Would love to think of them as contrary indicators, but here we are, going down like we do every day.

Hi CAtech,

My concern with the Fed easing is what if this 1/4 point has already been taken into consideration by the market? There are a lot of people who have been talking about a 1/4 point cut now for awhile. Could it wind up being a non-event? And if so what happens if they just go to a neutral bias only?

LAter,
Joel
