The biggest delusion is thinking that all the optic construction in your brain and eyes, plus all =trillion= neurons and their respective 10-100s connections, are to be somehow transported intact to some other dimension. If people routinely shut their eyes in California, and opened them..BOOM!.. in Hong Kong, I could give this some credibility. But to rely on writings of people who thought the Earth was flat, center of the universe, back 1900 years ago, that is ridiculous.

People rely on the old "spherical cube" idea..they cannot be "smarter than God" and know how a sphere can be a cube.

Another problem I have with Jesus. As the son of God, certainly he should have known how to construct a phonograph, so we could all hear his voice through the years. Instead, we have Thomas Edison, an avowed atheist, with the oldest recorded words in existence..."Mary had a little lamb.."
