Give 'em hell VENKIE. Would be a terrible thing for anybody to have their past messages combed for screw-ups. However, you have to expect some of this when you tout a POS like BRCM at the levels it was at after a nice spike. Just another .02

In all seriousness, this is not the time to be looking for another MSFT. We are not at the stage of the machine. This is a time to book profits and move on.

Merry Christmas.

I am trying to look beyond the next 5 minutes and find the next Msft/Csco

the problem, for the most part, is that the next MSFT/CSCO have been found, in about 300 nasdaq stocks and already priced in...good luck finding the right waldo, the wrong ones have a long way to go to get to where they belong, under the doormat.

<I am trying to look beyond the next 5 minutes and find the next Msft/Csco....>

May I suggest the excellent "Gorrilla Thread"...

<You need to ask yourself where the mkt thinks bottom is ...not where you think...>

No, the market keeps doing what it's doing until salesmen can't sell those stocks anymore... long past the time that it made any sense. What you're talking about is momentum trading, not investing IMO. They'll be giving away good tech stocks at the bottom of the cycle when the WSJ proclaims innovation and tech as 'dead'.

Relax and enjoy your journey as well.. investing is a simple sideshow.

VENKIE,

And a happy Christmas to you too -g-.

I am trying to look beyond the next 5 minutes and find the next Msft/Csco....It may take a while and I may make some mistakes but I may get lucky

The next MSFT, CSCO is probably trading under $10, is strapped for cash, and all the conventional thinking say it's a no hoper. But somewhere in all that mess is some extra cash stashed and some talented and determined individuals.

I like the miners myself, but there are probably several tech stock candidates too.

regards,

pearly
