I pulled up behind a car the other day at a stop light. It was spewing so much exhaust that I had to roll up my windows. It was a 1970-somethng and was covered with every eco-cause bumper sticker that has ever been printed. I'll bet it was putting out the pollution that 200-500 cars with today's pollution equipment on them would by expelling.

Hypocrisy doesn't begin to describe what these people do.

It's quite ironic the number of people with the save the environment bumper sticker on their gas hog vehicles isn't it?

I don't know of a sight that would tell us what I think that we know, very few new plants have been built. Can't build nuc's or hydro. Coal is no good. Seems they are spending all of their energy trying to modify current plants to make the granola muncher's happy and don't have much funding left to fight them for new plants. Hell here in WI they can't even build a damn power line across the state to bring badly needed power from Canada to the eastern part of the state.

Meanwhile we buy more power eating stuff like our computers and proclaim ourselves to be environmentally friendly kind of folks.
