Hi Michael D. Burke; Re the possible Japanese invasion of California in 1941. While everyone was worried about an invasion, the real fact is that the Japanese were nowhere near ready to move that many people across that big ocean. The US sub and carrier fleets were still around. I have to agree with Churchill, that the war was over on Dec 8 (?), 1941 when Hitler declared war on the US. Just look at the steel production figures for the various countries, the US and Britain combined could have defeated the rest of the world combined.

And besides, the Japanese in 1941 didn't have a sufficient supply of those little cameras they always take with them overseas.
