I didn't do the math but AROD probably makes more per game than I do in a year.

I remember when players first began to sign million dollar deals--I said it would never last. I am always wrong it seems. The only good thing about ARod deal is that a few months ago,Steinbrenner could have had jeter for 5 years at 75mil and now it looks like 8 years 172mil. He screwed up the same way with Bernie also.

Ten was close, it's $45k per "at bat".

The A-rod deal was worth more than the value of 9 teams...
