I thought that about sunw but it got cut in half.
I think it's time to be out of the market.
We will have months to stabilize after this year: don't you think most investors are terrified of stocks just like most of us here are?

My point mainly was that we should be in our strongest period, which normally ends in february......what happens at that time if we are still stuck in the mud.

Interstingly, you mentioned two things margin, which we talked about yesterday...yes I am on margin, but not too deep ( well now, that can change in a heartbeat if naz keeps tumbling ) and the second thing you just mentioned were near term otm's, not to be in them. I just checked and see that I got filled today on jdsu march 110's for $1, which as of now was low for the day. I added to a position I already had and lowered my cost basis a good bit. If jdsu can get any kind of run, and if this sdli deal gets done, maybe those otm's turn into something good....3 months time is left. I bought some at $4 and some at $1...I can get out even probably at about $2.25, and above that is profit. I would hope that within 90 days, jdsu has made some kind of move.

What I did today was add to a position to lower my cost basis and plan to hold in hopes of a jdsu run....however, those calls could have been traded for a nice clip. Got em at $1...they were bidding $1.50 when I just checked.....could sell right there for a nice % one day gain...or, hold for a few weeks and see if jdsu makes a run back to $70's or $80's, in which case the calls should be well above $4 or $5.....just some thoughts

still dont like how naz is looking.........Ed, is it possible that if we stay stuck in this mud til february, that maybe we don't ell off thru october as usual. being that we are already whacked down pretty good....what are the chances we can buck the trend march thru october if naz is still beaten down?

Thanks.....always appreciate your insight.

keith...wishing jdsu, rmbs, sndk, ntap, qcom, aol, atml, ssti ....run like the wind
