believe the us dollar need to break the 113 area (the lows of late september)to trigger more downside action....it is now sitting at 113.22 as of today's close...see below intra-day and weekly chart.

You are 100% correct. If a drop in the dollar index to 106 does nothing or very little for POG, gold's days as a viable investment asset class will be just about over barring a GATA miracle.
