They Were Up To 29 and Change During The Day

They closed down 3% to 27 1/2. Which is about what is printing now. I think the AH numbers after earnings are not that good an indicator.

This quick summary from DJ seems to agree that that they did OK - pretty much what was expected.

I wasn't counting on a miss (although that would have been nice). Between the recent run up and the overall market weakness I think this gets sold.

Maybe not tomorrow but soon enough.

4:13 (Dow Jones) Quick look at Oracle (ORCL) numbers shows mixed to positive picture. Applications sales up big, but database a little lighter than some were calling for. Topped quarterly view by a penny, no great surprise. Still nothing from Adobe (ADBE). (TG)
