Sounds like you need your hand held. You keep watching the ticker instead of the calendar.
If you stop running around chasing anything that moves, you will do better. The bottom is closer than the top. If you are not in over your head then you have nothing to worry about. If you buy in here and look long term, you should be fine.
Buy quality.

If you rather try to hit homeruns, then don't cry when you strike out. Henry Aaron never cried after striking out. Go check the record books as to which players hold the most home runs and then which have the most strike outs. You will find the same names under both categories. You are better off getting base hits. You will score more runs and less outs.

Most important is to find a method that suits you. You won't find it if you buy at market tops and cry at market bottoms. Screw your head on tight and stop being so emotional. This market will eat you up and spit you out if you don't change your ways.
Have some inner strength. Have some balls.
