CAtech - . Many promising ventures that would have driven this economy into the future have been killed off for lack of funding as VC's pull in their horns That is the big one. I said there would be collateral damage and that is the worst part of it. And still he sits there and worries about inflation and thre are leaks that the economy is still too hot. Actually I think the economy issimply fantastic in that it has prospered as long as it has with a Fed like this in control. Best regards, L

Dr. G's actions helped Bush win. The economic clouds looming before the election foreclosed Gore's "it's the economy, stupid," argument. Dr. G will now cut rates and get things moving again.
