Brian -- Agree with you 100%. Your analysis is on the mark! Thanks for your intelligent, analytical response.

There is another MAJOR misunderstanding in that post. The analyst falsely states that his assumed estimate of 300 Million web-enabled cell phones will be paying Infospace a monthly fee. This is false. Just because the cell phone is web-enabled DOES NOT mean that the cell phone user will be SUBSCRIBING to the web services through his or her carrier. For INSP to be paid a cell phone user at ATT, Verizon, Cingular, Voicestream etc. HAS TO SIGN UP FOR THE WEB SERVICE.

Thus you can see that my estimate of 100 Million is based on the fact that NOT every person who BUYS a web-enabled phone will sign up for mobile web services.

Will INSP grow rapidly over the next 3 or 4 years --- That seems to be a sure bet. The issue is how much, how fast, and how profitably will they be???

Simply put.... the real winner over the coming years will be the company that provides the software that actually connects the phone to the internet -- the browsing software. The leader in the area is Openwave( formerly Phone.com) They will be paid a fee for every web-enabled SOLD due to the fact that the cell phone actually has their software installed on each and every phone! That is why their market cap is 3 times INSP!!!!!!

This is what I have observed. Please correct or clarify my statements if they do not seem accurate.
