Hey Jim- Isn't it stupid that people living in warm California are going through an energy crisis? But your short term solution for more drilling isn't a solution. look at the stock of Chevron and Exxon to know that these corporations are making record profits at the expense of the consumer. I have to disagree that this is Clinton's fault. Oil drilling is a short term fix that presents long term problems. I live on the coast of CA and nothing pisses me off more than looking out to an ocean and seeing off shore drilling. The problem is political money is so dirty that energy companies are discouraging innovation to produce cleaner and more efficient sources of energy, other than oil. Actually, considering inflation, a gallon of gas is cheaper now than it was in the 60's. I don't think that will change with GW and Dick in office. I like Dick- I respect his intelligence. I have a feeling he thinks that we need to find cleaner sources of fuel. But GW is a moron, a clone of Quayle.
