little known beneficial relationship: Greenspan & VP Cheney during Iraqi Gulf War, Greendog was very concerned legitimately about the US financial commitment... Japan and Saudi Arabia each promised and delivered $200B... Bush's Secy Defense was Cheney at the time... against usual practices, Cheney provided Greenspan daily financial info... Greeny was very grateful... they remain very close now so despite Bush Sr and his resentment of Greenspan, we have a reassuring friendship and established relationship between Bush's most important cabinet official, Cheney I wouldnt be surprised if told Cheney and Greenspan are already in contact / jim
