I will give you a "fer instance". Cymer took a hit with every semi disappointment, even when the semis didn't. Now it went from 30+ to 24. Why? It was added to the S&P small cap 600. So naturally ML had to stop it. ML sold calls. ML wants it below 25. So there it went. Everyone will be shocked once again when CNBC yells...the market shrugged of negative news and we have a rally...traders ___insert Blah blah blah....say they hit the bottom...that's next week. Many options were purchased when the market saw a look up. Time to kill that and buy some cheap stock. I never buy calls within a week before expiration. I learned the hard way on that.
