I guess it depends on how far you think it can go and, then, where you think we are now. If you think that this will, over many years, give us a bear market that is commensurate with the bull that has preceded it, then this could go on for many years.

If you believe it could unwind to the proportions of 1929, then we have a long ways to go. Many of the people who bought into the market in 1930/31 thought they were buying the bottom. For most of them, their investment was under water for 20 years.
