Well, not to get too deep into conspiracy theories, but... The thought process behind this is that Greenspan is a democrat at heart. He has no love for Bush or the Republicans. Now that Clinton is out of the White House, time to destroy the republican name. Greenspan has let inflation run. He realizes it out of control. Time to fix the economy at the expense of the republicans. In four years the bear will end, a democrat will be elected into office, and the economy may resume. It is much deeper than this of course. NWO, one world gov't, etc... I dont have much of an opinion on it all, but am definitely going along for the ride. Making profits where I may, and trying my best to watch and learn.
