The market is made up of people who continually retract what they said five minutes ago. I hear all this talk of uncertainty due to the election, obviously ignoring earnings warnings and a slow economy. Then they talk about how Bush would be better for the market, and look what happens- they say that Bush was already factored into the market. Do these people think we're stupid?

Oak,

If I could predict the market, I'd be rich now.
All I do know is that history repeated itself.
No political party has ever held onto the Whitehouse
when the DOW was down more than 10% for the year
(Its down 20%, the NAS about 40%).
