Eski, I do think he will ease because of what the real economy seems to be doing. It is now being reflected by the technology companies. I don't know if the easing will be enough to result in a major comeback for tech.

The only thing that makes me feel that we may rebound is that now no one expects it. In October and November, it was believed to be the usual October selloff but was followed by election concerns. And it is over and the markets have not gone anywhere.
That should lead to capitulation tomorrow.

Not sure about the PC sector but the networkers/semis should be bottoming. Some semis at very low multiples.

Looking for share repurchase announcements soon.

I also don't think big mutual funds can time their buys of tech (i am referring to the ones now ready to buy). I remember 1997 and 1998 very well. It is too hard to pick an exact bottom.

I remember 1997 and 1998 very well. In the midst of economic problems in Asia and Russia, the market bottomed. The current economic problems fall into the same category and the markets bottomed then and will now as well.

The PC space has really messed up tech this fall.

I think the heavily concentrated techs funds like Janus have also diversified, which is a good thing for tech investor. and...Fidelity is underweight.

BTW--Congrats, you were right since September. I have been right in the past but got it wrong this time around. I will however remind you that you thought FED will not ease..I am confident they cut by at least 25 basis points.
