Here it is, based on 6 cents it may settle back under $4.00, boy I'm underwhelmed. Scott

Maximum Energy declares unit distribution
Maximum Energy Trust MXT.UN
Shares issued 12,000,000 2000-12-14 close $4.1
Friday Dec 15 2000 News Release
Mr. S. Brian Gieni reports
Maximum Energy Trust has declared the approval of its unit distribution payable Jan. 15, 2001. Maximum Energy Trust's first monthly distribution has been approved at six cents per unit to unitholders of record on Dec. 31, 2000, and will be paid effective Jan. 15, 2001. As previously announced, Maximum has recently concluded a significant acquisition and has engaged a new manager. The new manager and the board of directors are in the process of reviewing Maximum's budget and financial position in light of the recent acquisition, so this distribution is not necessarily a representation of monthly distributions projected for the future.
Maximum estimates that distributions during 2001 will not be taxable. However, as a result of its recent acquisition, distributions may become taxable in 2001 for unitholders who are not tax-exempt, depending on commodity prices and the effect of any future transactions concluded in 2001.
