William, you are so bad! I bet you tease your wife often!!! We've been spoiled for the last three winters or more. We haven't had really cold weather or snow. A few flakes fell today so it has been a shocker to see that the temperature hovers around 30 or 32 degrees night and day. It can drop into the teens. On those occasions, I use to toss blankets over all the roses that were in the ground. My neighbors were just as bad. They'd bundle up their shrubs! (gggg) Seriously though, do you think frost bite would show up sooner rather than later on roses? I worry because I plan to remove a couple from containers, and if they die, I want to make sure that I can replace them. I have to redo one rose bed this spring. It will be the third time. Eventually, I hope I'll figure it out and get it right! (ggg) Will you smoke your Christmas turkey? Since electricity and heating fuels have jumped, maybe I should get a smoker for Xmas. Mephisto
