Dude, were you by any chance long today? :-)

Dave,

Actually I was and I didn't know it. I took my first overnight hold on Thursday inadvertently. After I wrote that post to Alan, I opened up my trading software Thursday evening and to my dismay found I was long 49 shares of MCOM. (Karma)? I have no idea how that happened. I had sold short MCOM earlier in the day at what turned out to be the bottom and I thought I had closed out the trade for a 1/16 loss. Through dumb luck the stock had actually risen during the day and I was showing a 11/16 gain at the close. But I knew Friday was going to be tough because of MSFT first earnings warning in ten years. The next morning I got up early, saw one trade go off at the bid in premarket and got out with a $60 loss. I don't even know how MCOM traded on Friday and I don't care.
Memo to new traders: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR POSITION MINDER AFTER YOU BUY AND SELL AND BEFORE YOU SHUTDOWN YOUR SOFTWARE!
I always thought Realtick would warn you if you had a position open, but I guess that only applies to conditional orders that haven't been triggered yet.
