My guess is the crowd will be about 30% or less of what they hope for, but that they will lie about it, and segments of the media will play along. Anyone remember the "400,000-Man-March"?

Don't get what? That it's nuts to drive into DC on Inauguration Day and try to find a place to park? If they think they hate Bush, they haven't met the DC Parking Patrol. There is no more hated and reviled governmental body in the metro area. They will tow your car miles away, where the metro doesn't go, and you have to pay cash to get it back, a couple hundred for the tow and a couple hundred for the ticket. And you'll be lucky if your radio is still there. -g-

I advise them to park in the burbs and take the metro, along with millions of others.

We're used to demonstrations here. If they want to start a riot, though, they may have a hard time. Place is gonna be jam-packed with men, women, children, old, young, and babies in backpacks.

Usually DC lets protesters have the Mall, but this time it's already reserved. Oh, and don't forget the Secret Service and the FBI and the DC Swat teams. NOT pushovers. Used to dealing with DC drug gangs. Oh, and then there are the DC jails. Oh, baby. Not the place for long-haired white boys. -g-
