Yes, I make the buck on to slightly under the 1999 TL. very soon time to issue a BBA on that one -- will wait for the close to look at the weekly. -g

BC, have you noticed how many small failures we have had very recently. Mostly in the non-NASDAQ charts. Take a look at SELX, OEX, XMI -- the list is long. They all got over the Sep 1 line only to fall back under. it will only show as a shadow on the weeklies mind you.

We've had a few in the NASDAQ world as well. Smelly, CSCO, and YLS index come to mind.

Biotech had a great bounce week last week. Got turned away at that 1999 TL that I posted a chart of about 5 weeks ago and is very close to the next one -- the 1998 TL.

About 4 weeks ago I posted the XBD charts. Caved over the 1998 and this week did you see the beauty rejection on the retracement -- hit the TL going back up exactly at the corresponding horiz resistance around 587. (weekly view)

I expect a spirited defense today. In any case, we are many miles from banking our wave 5 scenario.
